In Advanced Bystander Assistance you will learn how to be a side by side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist".
Students are taught how to be a leader at a scene. Advanced airway, common roadway medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, femoral traction, role play, critical incident stress, lifting a bike lab, and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced.
Pre-requisite: Must have taken "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist" within the last 2 calendar years (2018 or 2019). This course is normally $85 but has been discounted to only $35 for the first 20 students. That cost will include all class materials, a certificate of completion, a patch, 6 CEUs, plus lunch! You will not want to pass on this chance to learn how to be the one who knows how to respond if a bike goes down.
Registration for this open to HRR members only until March 9th when it will open up to the general public. Students must pre-register.
